INSIDE THE SONG SERIES WITH HARRY REMER AND SPECIAL GUEST LOUISE COOMBE

FRIDAY, APRIL 24TH AT 8PM

This spring and fall, four highly respected local songwriters will perform their work and explore the nuts and bolts of its architecture. Inside the Song offers audiences insight into the unique and varied approaches these writers use create quality songs. These shows feature Harry Remer and the evening's invited guest each playing original songs. Along the way, they will also discuss the making of one of the guest’s songs—covering inspiration, process and discipline, overcoming doubt, and more—all in a spacious and attractive literary setting.

This month's guest, Louise Coombe, was the 2020 New Folk winner at the prestigious Kerrville Folk Festival and has appeared at many other top-ranked festivals. She has shared the stage with America, Joe Ely, and Steve Earle.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Hadley Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and by The Friends of Hadley Public Library.
